From Minimalism to Feminism, to Catholicism, you will always encounter the agitating “why”. Why do I fight to achieve equal to a man? Why do I believe in God and the beauty of the Eucharist? Why do I curate the things I own in my home? Why do I ask the question “why”? “Why”, is an important part of being a person. If we can reason our opinions, thoughts, gut reactions by answering the question “why”, then we can begin to broaden our horizons, witness the beauty of self discovery, and have meaningful conversations with one another.
Why did I start this blog? To continue my own self discovery, broaden my horizons, and begin meaningful conversations with you all, whomever you may be. From the lotion that I use to the God I love and worship, I plan to talk about it all and answer all the “why” questions I can.
Peace, love, and my prayers to you,
The Soaring Magpie
Slow down and enjoy life. It’s not only the scenery you miss by going to fast – you also miss the sense of where you are going and why.Eddie Cantor
